This beautiful tree trunk is approximately 18 cm wide and made of 100% Natural Mahogany Wood. The Tree Trunk Cave not only provides a nice lookout, but also a hiding place for rodents! In addition, this robust tree trunk is resistant to real rodents such as Gerbils and Degus. Of course, the animals can gnaw on the tree trunk, but gnawing it apart will cost them a lot of work!
✔ 100% Natural & Certified Mahogany Wood
✔ Very nice for a natural enclosure
✔ Very stable and very robust
✔ Ideal for Hamsterscaping & Gerbilscaping !
The tree trunk is quite large, but the 3 side entrances are approximately 8 cm, making it unfortunately not suitable for larger rodents.
Yes, definitely! The openings are large enough for Dwarf Hamsters (Roborovski Dwarf Hamster, Russian Dwarf Hamster, Campbelli Dwarf Hamster, Chinese Dwarf Hamster) and Hamsters (Syrian Hamster/Golden Hamster) to walk through the opening with full cheek pouches. It is very important that the openings of a house are large enough. If the entrances to a hamster house are too small, the hamster will have to squeeze through. The hammered grains can damage the mucous membranes of the inside of the cheek pouches, which can lead to abscesses of the cheek pouches.
A wooden house or tunnel can be cleaned in a simple way, depending on the use of the animals. If the animals do leave a puddle in the tunnel, which often happens with Muisjes, we recommend a urine spray . This breaks down the urine of the animals and thus cleans the wood.
This nice Timpuseng Tree Trunk is suitable for the following rodents: Mice , Dwarf Hamsters , Hamsters , Gerbils , Rats and Degus .
