The Sputnik is ideal for Mice and Rats, because it can be hung up. Research has shown that Mice and Rats like a sleeping place higher up in the enclosure. In addition, several animals can sleep wonderfully in the Sputnik. The Sputnik is not only suitable for Mice and Rats, in terms of size it is also suitable for Dwarf Hamsters and Hamsters . We find the Sputnik a bit too open for Dwarf Hamsters and Hamsters, these animals like more closed hiding places. Unfortunately, we do not recommend the Sputnik for Gerbils , because these animals are real rodents.
