Shipping and receiving days
Hey there! So, you've placed an order and now you're wondering when that magical box of rodent happiness will appear on your doorstep. Don't worry, we've got all the juicy details about shipping times, straight from our buddies at PostNL. But keep in mind that even PostNL can be a bit unpredictable sometimes. Life is full of surprises, right? Anyway, here's what you can expect:
Monday before 5 pm> Tuesday
Tuesday before 5 pm> Wednesday
Wednesday before 5 pm> Thursday
Thursday before 5 pm> Friday
Friday before 5 pm> Saturday
Saturday before 3 pm> Monday
But hey, remember that this schedule can change during busy periods. PostNL might decide to mix things up a bit just to keep us on our toes.
Oh, and if you order on weekends or holidays, be prepared for a possible delay. The delivery gnomes take it easy with their magic during those times. We wouldn't want them to miss the party, right?
Picking up your order
Want to shake things up and personally pick up your order? We totally get it! When placing an order with us, you have the option to choose self-pickup. It's like being a secret agent on a mission to collect an incredibly important package. During checkout (step 2 of the process, to be exact), you can select self-pickup and decide how you want to pay. You can prepay with one of our convenient payment methods or pay on-site when you swing by.
Monday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Tuesday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Wednesday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Thursday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday: 10 AM - 5:00 PM

Your order will be safely and swiftly shipped with PostNL. We don't mess around with other shipping parties. All orders are shipped with PostNL.

Pickup at a PostNL location
Waiting for an order? There's nothing more annoying than coming home after a busy workday and finding a message from the driver saying you weren't home at the time of delivery. Wouldn't it be nice if you could have the package delivered to a location that suits you best? Well, you can! At DRD Pet Store, you can choose to pick up your package at the nearest PostNL point. Your package will be delivered to the closest PostNL point. If you want it to be delivered to a different PostNL point, you can specify it during the ordering process. The rates for "Pakje Gemak" are the same as the shipping costs with PostNL.
*It is the customer's responsibility to enter and/or verify the shipping address correctly if it's already filled in. The shipping costs or any additional costs due to incorrect address information will not be reimbursed.
Pallet shipment
In the following cases, your order will be shipped via pallet shipment:
Orders over 90 kg Orders larger than allowed within PostNL's conditions Terrariums up to 120 cm
The delivery time for a pallet shipment is 5 - 10 working days.
NB! It is very important to check the terrarium together with the driver upon delivery. In case of serious damage whereby the terrarium is no longer usable, you must refuse the terrarium upon delivery. Once the terrarium has been accepted without a damage report to the driver, no damage can be reported at a later time.
Evaluation period
All your orders have a evaluation period of 14 days from the moment the order is in your possession. Within this period, you can view and assess the item. If you're not satisfied with the item, you can return it. The costs for the return shipment are your responsibility. This also applies to promotional items and items on clearance. You can return the item if:
it's within the 14-day evaluation period the item is complete it's unused it's in its original condition and factory packaging as reasonably possible the return shipment is adequately franked
