A fun Igloo for small rodents. The Igloo can be placed freely in the enclosure, but it is also fun to bury it in the ground cover. In this way your rodent has an underground house. The Igloo is made of durable plastic and is easy to clean! The igloo house is not transparent.

What is the advantage of a plastic house?

The biggest advantage of a plastic house is that it is easy to clean. This is especially ideal for rats, because these animals often mark their territory by dripping urine over the parts of the enclosure.

Which animals is the Igloo House House suitable for?

The house is available in two sizes: 16 cm and 25 cm. For each size we have indicated for which rodents it is suitable. The smaller house is suitable for Mice and Dwarf Hamsters and the larger house is suitable for Mice , Hamsters and Rats .

We have indicated which size is suitable for which animal. It may be a bit illogical that we have said that the 25 cm house is suitable for mice, we have done that deliberately. Mice live in groups, if the group is larger a larger house can be more pleasant for them.

Can this house be used for group animals?

Yes, that is certainly possible! For group animals (Rat) we always recommend placing at least one large house in the enclosure where all animals can fit together. Group animals like to be together and often hide and sleep together. The Castle House is large enough in that sense to put several Rats to sleep, but unfortunately multiple Guinea Pigs will not work. For small Guinea Pigs, this house can best be used as an extra house next to a larger shelter.
