What is the advantage of a plastic house?

The biggest advantage of a plastic house is that it can be easily cleaned. This is especially ideal for mice and rats, because these animals often mark their territory by dripping urine over the parts of the enclosure.

Which animals is Sputnik suitable for?

The Sputnik is ideal for mice because it can be hung. Research has shown that mice prefer a sleeping place higher up in the enclosure. In addition, several animals can sleep wonderfully in the Sputnik. The Sputnik is not only suitable for mice, its size is also suitable for dwarf hamsters and hamsters . We think the Sputnik is a bit too open for Dwarf Hamsters and Hamsters, these animals prefer closed hiding places. Unfortunately, we do not recommend sputnik for Gerbils , because these animals are real rodents.

Young Rats (Rittens) can also use this smaller sputnik. However, the Sputnik is too small for adult Rats.

Can this house be used for group animals?

Yes, that is certainly possible! For group animals (mice), we always recommend placing at least one large house in the enclosure where all animals can fit together. Group animals like to be together and often also want to hide and sleep together. In that sense, Sputnik is large enough to put several mice to sleep.
