This fun hammock from Trixie is suitable for many different rodents such as mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets and also chinchillas and degus if they know how to behave well. The hammock is covered with a soft wool layer. The rodents have a nice warm bed to sleep in! The Trixie Hammock 45 cm can easily be hung in the enclosure thanks to the practical hanging system.

Because the hammock is double-sided, it has a warm and a cold side. In winter, the wool layer is nice and warm. In summer, the nylon side provides cooling!

Instructions for use Hammock

For rats, the hammock can be hung higher in the enclosure. Rats are good climbers who like to sleep at the top of the enclosure. Make sure that any fall is always broken.

For guinea pigs and small dwarf rabbits, the hammock should be hung a little lower and preferably taut, so that the animals can easily get in and out.

We even indicate that it is also suitable for Chinchillas and Degus, provided that they do not gnaw on the material, because that would be a shame :)
