This beautiful tree trunk is made of synthetic resin. This is a very hard material that rodents do not like to gnaw on. With a diameter of approximately 6 cm, this tree trunk is only suitable for mice, dwarf hamsters and gerbils. A Syrian hamster with full cheek pouches can unfortunately only get through here with difficulty.

Small rodents need a shelter to feel safe. Several small houses are therefore recommended so that the animals can quickly escape if necessary. A house with an open bottom is preferred so that it can ventilate well and no sultry environment is created.

The tree trunk is very easy to clean. Unlike a wooden tree trunk, it can simply be rinsed under the tap with lukewarm water.
