What is the advantage of a plastic house?

The main advantage of a plastic house is that it can be easily cleaned. This is especially ideal for Rats, because these animals often mark their territory by dripping urine over the parts in the enclosure.

For which animals is the Castle House suitable?

The house is ideal for Rats , they can all sleep wonderfully in it. In terms of size, the house is also very suitable for the guinea pig . The entrance is just a little narrow. The widest part is 11.5 cm and decreases upwards to 7 cm and further to 4 cm. The ideal entrance for a guinea pig is 12 cm.

Can this house be used for group animals?

Yes you can! For group animals (Rat) we always recommend to place at least one large house in the enclosure in which all animals fit together. Group animals like to be together and often hide together and sleep together. In that sense, the Castle House is big enough to put several Rats to sleep, but unfortunately several Guinea pigs will not work. For small guinea pigs, this house is best used as an extra house next to a larger shelter.
