Product description

Claystone Natural rodent material for rodents and rabbits

The clay stone is a 100% natural product for rodents and rabbits. Depending on the type, this consists of 84% - 87% natural clay and wheat flakes. The clay bricks are available with three different toppings: dried carrot, dried parsley and blossom mix.

Takes care of the teeth
Provides natural minerals and trace elements
No additives

The clay stone cannot be compared to the traditional gnawing stone, as it is 100% natural. In addition, rodents and rabbits also use clay stones in the wild to wear down their teeth on the one hand and to meet their mineral needs on the other.

It is good to know that the clay bricks are not enriched with sugar or fruit sugar. This ensures that the animals only use the clay brick as needed. The small topping on the top of the clay brick encourages the animals to gnaw, which ensures extra and good tooth wear, but does not promote overeating. The toppings are also very conscious and healthy.

Symptoms of mineral deficiency in rodents and rabbits

! Licking walls
! Eating sand
! Dental problems
! Excessive hair loss

Instructions for use: clay stone

The clay brick can be placed in the enclosure and may be used by the animals as needed. If you notice that your animal is trying to eat a lot at once, remove the stone from the enclosure. Your animal may be deficient in a mineral that it is trying to recover, but it is good to do this gradually. In that case, it is a good idea to occasionally place the stone in the enclosure under supervision. However, most animals will enthusiastically gnaw off the topping and continue to use the stone as needed and not excessively.

The stone is suitable for all rodents and rabbits, but we have excluded the guinea pig as these animals often have problems with the bladder and kidneys. If your guinea pig is 100% healthy, the clay stone can be used as described above.
