Product description

cool for rodents during hot days Happy Pet Ceramic House Corn for small rodents!

The Happy Pet Ceramic House Corn is a cute house for small rodents in the shape of a corn cob. The house is made of ceramic, making it easy to clean and also nice and cool in the summer. The house is suitable for small rodents such as mice and dwarf hamsters.

As a cool sleeping house
Ceramics provide cooling in the summer

Ceramics are cool in summer and warm in winter!

Strangely enough, ceramic is nice and warm in winter when the animals make their nests in it. This is due to the very good insulating effect of ceramic. It is not without reason that houses are now built with ceramic bricks because of their superior insulation in both winter and summer.

Can rodents tolerate heat well?

Rodents have only a low heat tolerance. In nature, animals retreat to the cooling, underground burrow when it is hot - you can imitate this effect with a cold house. In the summer, a cold store offers pleasant cooling.

Are the openings large enough for the cheek pouches?

Yes, definitely! The openings are large enough for dwarf hamsters (Roborovski Dwarf Hamster, Russian Dwarf Hamster, Campbelli Dwarf Hamster, Chinese Dwarf Hamster) to walk through the opening with their cheek pouches full. It is very important that the openings of a house are large enough. If the entrances to a hamster house are too small, the hamster will have to squeeze through. The hammered grains can damage the mucous membranes of the inside of the cheek pouches, which can lead to abscesses of the cheek pouches.

What is ceramics?

Ceramics are glazed earthenware. The difference between terracotta and ceramic is that ceramic is glazed and terracotta is not glazed. The glaze layer makes ceramic: strong, water-resistant, insulating and easy to clean. The biggest advantage for us is that urine cannot be absorbed into the material. Any pee deposits can be removed this way, because they are absorbed.

Goede kwaliteit product, lekker koel.

Zeer tevreden mee.
