The Vetbed is made of synthetic sheepskin. A major advantage of the vetbed is that it is nice and soft, insulates heat and absorbs moisture very well. Suitable for guinea pigs and rabbits as solid bedding.

As bedding for small rodents (Mouse, Dwarf Hamster, Hamster, Gerbil)
As bedding, the Vetbed is not suitable for small rodents, which need a thick layer of soil that can be dug.

As bedding for larger rodents (Rat, Guinea Pig, Rabbit, Chinchilla)
The Vetbed Hygo is ideal to use as a ground cover for larger rodents. Preferably if the animals are potty trained and do their business in the toilet as much as possible. The vetbed has no absorbent underlay. The vet bed can also be used in combination with the toilet mat for animals that are not house trained at all and who urinate a lot in one place.
