DIMETHIcare Environmental Spray is ideal for use on carpets, fabric furniture, baskets and other areas where pets reside. DIMETHIcare Environmental Spray physically immobilizes ticks, fleas and other parasites such as mosquitoes, mites and lice. Beaphar DIMETHIcare does not contain insecticides, but silicone (dimethicone) that creates a sticky layer around the parasites. This means they can no longer move. Resistance cannot occur due to the mechanical action. DIMETHIcare environmental spray has a residual effect of two weeks.

Instructions for use Beaphar Dimethicare Environmental Spray

Vacuum and remove pets from the area before treatment. Shake the can well before use. Aim the spray nozzle approximately 30cm from the surface you want to treat. Spray the surface to be treated evenly for approx. 7 - 14 seconds per square meter. Shake the can regularly when treating larger surfaces. The treated surfaces may discolour slightly darker. This is normal and will disappear once the product has dried. Hard, non-porous surfaces may remain slippery for up to 30 minutes after treatment. If after 2 weeks you still experience problems with fleas, repeat the spraying.
