Which dried flowers can chinchillas eat?
Chinchillas can eat all dried flowers listed in this category. In the wild, Chinchillas have a very meager and fairly dry diet, so dried flowers are also a very good and natural addition.
How can you feed dried flowers to chinchillas?
The dried flowers can be added to the daily food, but also to the hay or herbs that are given. The dried flowers enrich the daily menu of the animals in this way and they will appreciate that very much. Chinchillas eat the dried flowers as needed. It is also nice to sprinkle the dried flowers through the enclosure so that the animals have to search for them (forage).
Are dried flowers better than fresh flowers?
Many fresh flowers contain a lot of ingredients and moisture. This can cause the chinchillas to get diarrhea and can disrupt the digestion. This does not happen with dried flowers.
