For chinchillas, the glass drinking bottle from Trixie is extremely suitable. This drinking bottle is made of thick, hard glass with a metal drinking spout. The entire drinking bottle is therefore gnaw-proof. This makes the bottle ideal for chinchillas.
For most animals, a drinking bowl can also be used. However, we advise against this for chinchillas. By placing a drinking bowl in the enclosure, the chinchillas themselves could easily get wet. Chinchillas should absolutely not get wet, because they are very sensitive to pneumonia and skin fungi.
