Budgerigars play to avoid being bored
When housing in a cage, it is important to offer the budgerigars toys and climbing material, so that the animals do not get bored.

Budgerigars are generally very cheerful and enterprising birds that can become very tame. Especially if they are kept from an early age, they can get used to their caregivers very quickly and show a lot of interaction. Some Budgerigars can even talk.
